PANZER DRAGOON TRILOGY DLC

This PKG replaces Cotton 2 with Panzer Dragoon, Cotton Boomerang with Panzer Dragoon Zwei and Guardian Force with Panzer Dragon Saga (CD1).

PANZER DRAGOON SAGA EXTRA DLC

This PKG contains three PKGs with the rest of the PDS CDs: CD2, CD3 and CD4. Once you finish the first disc you will be able to save. Then install the CD2 package and load the savegame. These packages only contain each disc for Game Guardian, it will leave Cotton 2 and Cotton Boomerang with the other Panzer Dragoon games. Afaik, nobody has tried the disc swap in this emulator, so I’m not sure if it will work, but it should.

Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute (Cotton 2 + Cotton Boomerang + Guardian Force) for Playstation 4 and Switch is built around a port of the PC emulator SSF by Shima. The first Saturn emulator that ever run commercial games, back in 2001.

The emulator has really high compatibility and flawless performance on Playstation 4, and each game of the collection can be replaced with any other Saturn game. The biggest problem with the emulator, already viral when the game came out in October, is that it has noticeable input lag in some games, including the original games from the collection. Imo it is not that bad, but it can be certainly distracting in some genres. That cannot be fixed, since it is inherent to the emulation (it is not a performance issue). City Connection (devs) were looking into it, but no update has been released since 1.02 (October).

In this thread I will share the original dump (base + update) by Gameto and a few “DLCs” with other Saturn games. These DLCs only have the bare minimum files to work as a patch, so you must install the base game + 1.02 patch first, once done you can patch as many “DLCs” as you want. Even if the graphics of the menu can be replaced (they are Unity textures) I don’t have time for that, so these DLCs will be pretty dirty replacements, just the game. The menu, logos, manuals, guides and any other extra will be the original assets from the collection.
