DLC Content v4
THE BAD SEED
– Explore a relaxing Arboretum, wade through a noxious Morass and take on a new boss in this new early game content designed to expand the Dead Cells universe and add more variety.
– The Dilapidated Arboretum: A relaxing and peaceful greenhouse inhabited by a peaceful clan of mushrooms, with an understandable desire to murder the Beheaded.
– The Morass of the Banished: A noxious environment ruled by a band of tree dwelling mutants with pointy sticks, sneaky dart shooting frogmen and a bunch of deadly bloodsuckers.
– The Nest: Domain of Mama Tick, if you’ve seen Starship Troopers, you get the idea…
– Exclusive “Royal Gardener’s Outfit” blueprint. The outfit itself is not free, it cost 150 cells, so start saving.
*ACCESSING DLC:
– You need to acquire the “Vine Rune” from the Promenade of the Condemned level, and then you need to get the “Teleportation Rune” from the Toxic Sewers.
– With runes equipped, explore the Prisoner’s Quarters fully until you locate a Teleportation Rune statue.
– Use it to teleport down a new path, and examine the dead body that spawns somewhere in the hallway.
– You’ll acquire the “Dilapidated Arboretum Key” and the Royal Gardener’s Outfit blueprint.
FATAL FALLS
– Try not to fall as you wind your way along the sheer cliffs of the island’s coast.
– Explore floating shrines, infiltrate the lair of an outlawed secret society and learn the tells of a new boss.
– This is new mid game content for people looking for alternatives to the Stilt Village, Clock Tower and Time Keeper areas and their parallels.
– On top of the new areas, enemies and pet sword, you’ll of course need new tools for killing and what we’ve provided here should be particularly effective.
– The Fractured Shrines: Breathtaking views, kamikaze crows, spear-wielding snakes, sadistic new traps and an endless fall if you slip. What more could you ask for?
– The Undying Shores: Not the beach you had in mind for your time off… Creepy lantern wielding wizards and their shovel brandishing minions. Not at all the holiday you planned…
– The Mausoleum: A new humanoid boss with his own story to tell, tough pattern based combat and a magnificent setting for a showdown.
*ACCESSING DLC:
– You must complete the game at least once to unlock the ability to throw your disembodied head wich is required to gain access to DLC level.
– The Fractured Shrines can be accessed via an elevator after defeating the boss at Black Bridge or the Nest. Take the elevator to begin this side-path.
– The Fractured Shrines lead to the Undying Shores. To unlock the door to the Undying Shores in the Fractured Shrine, you just need a body or a Cultist Outfit.
– Find a cultist dead body in the Fractured Shrine and then throw your head at the body to possess it. While possessed, go to the door with two statues to unlock the path.
– Finally, the Undying Shores lead straight to the Mausoleum.
THE QUEEN AND THE SEA
– Battle your way through sunken shipwrecks, scale a burning lighthouse and confront your deadliest foe yet.
– If you manage to make it through all that, maybe you’ll finally get off this god-forsaken island…
– This late-game content gives you an alternative to the High Peak Castle, Derelict Distillery and Throne Room biomes.
– Infested Shipwreck: Crawl through the claustrophobic corridors of crumbling wrecks, while seething eldritch abominations hunt you from the shadows.
– Lighthouse: Ascend this soaring tower while fending off the relentless attacks of the Servants and outrunning the hungry flames rising from below.
– The Crown: Try to get off this cursed island by lighting the beacon at the lighthouse summit. However, your past won’t let you go without a fight…
– 9 new weapons, including a throwable shark, a trident and a pirate hook hand (eyepatch not included).
– A not-so-cute pet.
– Loads of new outfits.
– New enemies to bash.
*ACCESSING DLC:
– Step 1: Unlock the Flask Room (or die 3 times to skip tutorial levels and unlock it by default).
– Step 2: Talk with the Fisherman (he is located somewhere in Toxic Levels).
– Step 3: Acquire the Crowned Key (Fisherman will point you to Stilt Village and to find character Michel who holds the Crowned Key).
– Step 4. Unlock the Door to the Infested Shipwreck (first level of The Queen and The Sea DLC).
– Important: After completing the Stilt Village, make sure not to go to High Peak Castle or Derelict Distillery or you will have to repeat some steps.
– Instead, head to the bottom of the map and look for a locked door. Use the Crowned Key you got from Stilt Village and head to a new outside area.
– From there, make your way down to the Fisherman who’s been waiting on his boat. Jump on and catch a ride to The Queen and The Sea’s first level, The Infested Shipwreck.

– A gateway to a striking castle has suddenly appeared, and an imposing warrior called Richter asks you to help him vanquish the great evil within.
– Richter Belmont and Alucard will be by your side throughout your quest to vanquish Dracula, helping you to navigate the maze of Dracula’s Castle and providing you with strong weapons.

– In Dead Cells, players cannot begin the Return to Castlevania journey with zero deaths.
– You must die at least three times in the game to obtain access to Castlevania DLC, thus new players cannot find the DLC on their first attempt.

– The Castlevania DLC will be found within the Prisoner’s Quarters biome.
– While carefully investigating the area, players will come across Richter Belmont standing in front of a door leading to the Castlevania area.
– Speaking with Richter will assist players in reaching a new biome, the Castle’s Outskirts. The Castlevania DLC begins right there…
